Prof. Ibrahim Gerarh Umaru

Prof. Ibrahim Gerarh Umaru is a Consulting Partner of Dovell Global Consulting. A Professor of Environmental Economics at Kaduna State University, Kaduna-Nigeria. Umaru is a distinguished Economist and Environmental Management expert. He holds two Doctoral Degrees in Economics and Environmental Management from A.B.U Zaria-Nigeria and Nasarawa State University, Keffi-Nigeria.

He has attended several IT and business courses with some proficiency in Python, SQL, JavaScript programming languages, and full-stack web development. He is a certified business analyst. Umaru’s career has seen him serve as a banker, new product developer, investment and capital market advisor, and national security consultant. He also has vast experience in environmental research and policy design in agriculture, industrial development, and export promotion, and he has participated in several international projects and socioeconomic environmental impact assessment studies. A prolific author, Umaru has 100+ publications to his credit. He is married with children.
